Atlanta has them in the middle of parks too far from and facing away from parking lots to read any license plates… they’re there to use facial recognition on children playing on park equipment.

That’s interesting, I’ve never heard that and I’ve worked with carpenters in many places over the world. I definitely find the same thing when I look for a bit by the name though.
And I kind of like it more because you can think of it as giving some back on a cut like a marketing rebate.
Rebate = rabbet
I’m pretty sure.

This is the way.

My worker eats 4 to 5 small meals over the course of a 12hr work day. One of these is second breakfast which he sings as he brings it to the microwave.

With 2 people working 80hrs a week and a kid in cloth diapers I assure you I cannot wait a few weeks.
Could probably get the diapers done throughout the week by hand and I do all my own laundry in a hotel room by hand when I have to travel for work, but I dont have the littiney of other home owner crap to take care of or all the bedding and towels so its just my clothes.
At what time should I be doing my entire family’s laundry by hand including bedding for 3 to 4 weeks?
Sure could drop off at a laundry service but at that point its expensive enough to have just paid the repair guy with the part in his truck to come out and fix it defeating the whole point of fixing it myself.

The one place I’m having issue with this is appliance parts. Every time I try to buy from an appliance parts retailer on line it takes weeks to get my part. It’s either that or I call a local repair shop that has parts in stock and will sell it to me if I have the time to get out to their location an hour and half away between 9 and 3. Man I’m just trying to fix the washer when I get home from work. I dont have time for all that or the time to wait for the part, laundrys gotta get done!

I loved the DaVinci Museum! Second to the ADI design museum, but I’m a bit of a design nerd.
I hadn’t realized the extent of his hand in essentially the existence of Milan. It’s definitely one of the best non kiddie science museums I’ve been to. The Fernbank in Atlanta is increasingly kiddie inside but out back they have an extensive forest of native plants which is super cool. They do adult nights sometimes but I think thats just adults getting drunk and doing kid stuff.

This was one of the first things I remember someone teaching me as a small child and then again (correcting some) when I started martial arts. I attribute never breaking any bones as a kid to this.
Knowing how to fall is an important life skill that should not be reserved for people who partake in dangerous activities.

Oh! I can also slow my heart rate, but I don’t hold my breath, I just beath slowly and… will it.

Same. If there’s a fair amount of particular types of ants I can smell them still but not which corner of the yard has fire ants anymore.

Ok fine Linux it is. As a person who mostly uses a computer for 3D modeling, drafting and invoicing… what are my options?

Quarterly
Like you’d see crazy evangelical pactors do to people on tv?

I’ve been using progeCAD for the last few years and its basically a clone of AutoCAD for a fraction of the price and you own it unlike autodesk’s model they’ve had since like 2017 or something.

What other things would you invest in?
I’m not trying to be contrary to your comment I’m just legitimately curious as to what you might view as a similar investment. I can’t, at the moment, think of anything that would have a similar return structure that isn’t essentially doing the same thing. Hoarding a finite resource and charging a premium for its use.

One of my cats is a man cat. We always call him a man unless it Big Bubba Boi for the alliteration. The other cat is a demon.

Mmm problem with the beatitudes is they’re kinda pretty open to interpretation. What do you consider merciful or righteous? Sure its narrowed down pretty well if you follow all of his teachings… but that’s asking a lot of modern American Christians.
No switch to be flipped. Already used that way.
