Neil has a lot in common with one of my friends back home

Can you believe that people just 40 years ago were still calling them stickers. Crazy how far we’ve come in just a short amount of time. Now they’re using it in songs on the radio.

Okay. Carry on. I was thinking that you meant the free tier didn’t support HTTPS encrypted traffic. I didnt want someone to rule out that option based on a false assumption. Sorry for the confusion.

They also only allow HTTP traffic for the free tier, which is another way they push you towards business tiers.
I don’t think that’s true. I’m pretty certain all of my domains are HTTPS only, but maybe that’s because I own the domain? Does cloudflare offer free domain names for tunneled traffic?

Notice I never mentioned that they don’t get cancer. But also there’s more than a few reputable sources that explain Peto’s Paradox. These 2 are what I learned from.

Isn’t this the mechanism with which extremely large animals like whales use to kill cancers? They essentially allow cancer to develop cancer and self metabolize?

Firstly, I want to second that this explanation was very good. Second, can you explain why funding would not be available to study why this drug is effective? To me it would seem that this could be a master key that unlocks treatment options for other types of cancers

Check your local appliance provider. Ooni and Gozney make excellent forges.

Dont know what that is in Celcius off the top of my head, BUT if its a wood fired Napolitano style pizza they may be fine at that temp. 800-900°F for like 2-3 minutes is 🤌

Your battery take won’t come to fruition any time soon in the consumer market. Commercial trucking and such I can see, but consumers value interior space and standardizing a battery limits what you can do with the interior. Automakers would never pigeonhole themselves like that. Look at the cellphone and laptop market and their batteries.

That was in the 80s when everything was angular. Lamborghini kept that going while Ferrari trended toward pointed front bumpers, rolling curves, and a bigger back end. The quintessential Ferrari is the 2002 Enzo Ferrari and this borrows non of the design elements from that.
Don’t get me wrong, I actually don’t mind the design of the Ferrari Red Luce. The other colors look horrendous for some reason, but the red works for me. If I were nitpicking though, I think they could have slimmed down the chassis, gave the front end a bit more aggressive point, and reworked the back end to not look so flat. The designer is a former Apple guy and I think it shows. Purists would have wanted something bold to showcase a new era for Ferrari I think.

My buddy is currently on his way to paying 32k for a 15k car
That might be the worst financing option I’ve heard in my life. 4000 down on a 15,000 loan would end up being about 12800 total on 5 years at 6%

Have you never heard of financing? I make $50,000 a year and bought a used EV. The only reason I was able to was because of rebates offered by IL-EPA. If not for the rebate, I’d still be driving an ICE vehicle and paying $50/wk on gasoline.

This may or may not help, but I went through the exact same sort of struggles that you did when I first started. Setting up all this was my first forray into Linux and learning about permissions and file systems was a hurdle but having conquered that my primary issues were always caused by one of the following:
Now that I actually seem to have a handle on all this…mind you, I’m no expert, but I can walk people through it in plain english. I eventually ended up switching to Proton VPN and use cloudflare tunnels to access my services from outside the network.

An overwhelming majority of the general public also liked Oppenheimer, so I think you may just be particularly hard to please.

Thanks for the reply. This is the first time someone has explained stock options so simply to me.

Can someone explain to me why it would be a bad idea to short the fuck out of this stock? I’d like to make money and be a principled human at the same time, but I’m not well versed in the stock market.

Tailscale has native clients for all the major TV OS’. And I’m not whitelisting public networks for my friends’ convenience. If they’re traveling, they use tailscale with their mobile device or not at all. If you’re talking about IP spoofing that’s not a realistic vulnerability concern for a home media server.
At least I know the potential attack vectors for my Jellyfin server and can mitigate potential security concerns.
I’m feeling the same way. I’ve bounced around a few places since joining. I started on midwest.social which was great for a while, but I think the instance grew more than the dev could keep up with. I started seeing connectivity issues and problems displaying content so I reluctantly migrated to .world to see what joining the largest instance would be like. The technical issues went away but I couldn’t figure out why I could no longer see /c/piracy until I realized that they’re a bunch of pushovers that defederated from dbzer0 based on some liability bogeyman. So I found myself on Lemmy.zip where I can police my own content and have no technical issues.
