Is that a real question, or do you use ai?

Is that a real question, or do you use ai?

They appear deliberately vague and misleading

The 1st round should be yes, or no.
Choice A in the developer poll still allows for ai
"It does not include:
Upstream projects using LLMs for development
AI-related software
Upstream patches/security fixes etc."

I’m not going, but I believe musk has room for more passengers, op sounds like they may already have the armband and the moustache.

shaddowbanning is pathetic and lazy.

It is illegal in Australia as well, where anti-israel/anti-zionism/anti-genocide has been remarketed as anti-semitism.
Potential 2 year prison sentence for saying ‘from the river to the sea’ in one of the Australian states.

can I interest you in a spaceship to mars soon?

I thought debian was better than ubuntu, hopefully I was right. I only have it installed as a back-up/look more into later distro, so it is very easily deleted if they wander down the nuclear wasteland path.
Use the filters (including init software) to narrow your options:
Watching his content should be enough to inform you of that.
Otherwise it is a very simple search on youtube, there are multiple very well known issues.
Spoon-fed opinions serve little purpose.
A lot of people interested in tech end up watching at least one of his channels due to internet searches confusing ‘best’ with ‘biggest’.
You will make your own mind up one way, or the other.
Linus is a trashtuber.
The “active local content” even here in australia , is often trash on reddit, it still has that murican feel to it. No doubt that varies by location, and subject though. My reddit feed most days is completely empty, it’s more for if I want to look something up, or ask a question about something (guaranteed mixed results there of course, but probably no worse than any other platform).
I’ll have an absinthe thanks
The first part is very unlikely to be true, the second part is probably not a bad thing for lemmy, your “anarchist” friends are most likely much more at home on twitter, facebook, instagram etc.
If lemmy is getting a “reputation as a tankie bar” and that is keeping the type of people away who repeatedly regurgitate tankie, leftist etc, that will lower the quantity of users, but the quality ratio will improve.
What other reasons can be given for post deletion? Lemmy isn’t worse off due to that post no longer being here.
The graph is surprising, I expected the opposite, due to reddit becoming more and more reddity every day, along with the current political/social climate in multiple countries. It seems a good time for people to want something different.

“leftist leftist leftist” ~brainrotted mcmurican

reddit has rapidly become somewhere you go for need, not for want
ie: a particular linux sub, only as needed.
Ideally the subs you follow there, will appear here in time, but the problem with that is that the people will follow, and this (to a degree) will become that.

You just have to deal with unhinged, misinformed, and extreme takes all the time.
says ‘tankie tankie tankie’
I read 1, 7, and 8, as they appeared to be the options not just saying ‘ai yay’. I stopped reading each of those options when they appeared to turn into contrary bullshit. I very briefly scanned some of the other options.
None of them appeared to prohibit the inclusion of ai. The verbosity comes across as deliberate, rather than informative to me, knowing how much people scan these days.
I have debian installed on my 2 pc’s, but do not actively use it, and this would be my first insight/interaction with the people behind it, and the ‘community’. If this poll is the 1st step in the process, I have to question why the 1st step was not simply ai: yes, or no. With a result of yes = empty partitions where I used to have debian.
