I agree… although I also understand people who feel the other way. As a top guy in the company the money he gets is going to be usually much more than an employee and for just existing at the top. So it feels more like company money than someone getting paid for actually putting in the grunt work to keep the company running. Not to mention that nobody is talking about mullvad and the ideology of random coder #26, the actions of the cofounder is always going to be in the same sentence as mullvad. So I understand taking a stance to not feed into that.
However I don’t agree with the moral superiority stance that often (not always) comes with that viewpoint. By all means boycott them yourself but I’m not one to push that on others unless it is actually the company itself donating or if their views start poisoning the quality of the service they provide (brave for example)

Or the more likely option that they get the cheaper ram from China and then double dip and use the ram scarcity excuse for higher prices

And their kids are not my problem. I had a vasectomy I did my part. I don’t want the responsibility of raising and protecting a kid so I’m not having one… The government’s part if anything is to invest in educating parents on how to protect their kids online in the modern age, and use the slew of parental controls available on every platform. If you’re going to buy your kid a $1,000 device with internet access, you should probably like actually monitor what they do with it. The same as you do. If you have alcohol in the house or firearms in the house or anything else that’s potentially dangerous in the hands children.

How about they fine the parents who are failing to parent their kids?

Even if that’s true, I’m predicting either AI companies just buy all of that too. Or the US government doesn’t allow the import of it because it’s from China

Raised prices and announced less RAM for non-pro models

Yes, but a good chunk of feature updates notate certain features only works on 9 and up or 10 and up despite no apparent reason, at least to myself why it wouldn’t work on the 8 series

I thought margarine OS and I couldn’t believe it didn’t default BTRFS

I hope this is exclusive to newer models and leaves my 8 pro alone… fuck Google

This really bums me out not cuz I was looking to buy one but because I wanted it to shake the market up and make every company do better for the consumer… I feel like this price takes them completely out of the console market and purely into the entry-level PC market where I think it still is a decent specs and price for that market. It’s just not what it was made to be

The problem with this is sounds great on paper until you explain how it’s done… Which is everyone having to verify their age by submitting sensitive documents to random corporations that get breached all the time and hand over an easy way for governments to see absolutely everything someone does on the internet

Ted “when things go bad in my state I go on a” Cruz

No it’s unofficial but it’s I believe the biggest/primary arch Linux community discord .
In their roles chanel you can pick one to get security pings… major ones are typically also everyone pinged but some have those disabled

There were announcements and security ping in the arch Linux community discord… But I wish they’d be more vocal on this outside discord especially given discords controversy as of late
Update: they finally posted about it in the arch news feed last night… A bit late but better than never. Npm removed the malicious package, but then the bad actors started using bun instead…
As others have proposed, I really think that orphaned packages should require a moderator of the aur to approve the commit and acquisition of an orphaned package. Currently nothing stops someone from spinning up accounts and hijacking these abandoned projects

The other guy is unfortunately ted cruz
People with dual boot are more likely to have games on NTFS and think that they can use them under Linux and not realize that just because some people get lucky with it for a while does not override the fact that the proton GitHub itself says do not use NTFS for the previously stated reasons
I have a really simple setup since I don’t really do content creation or music or anything really needing a quality microphone. I use the Drop/EPOS pc38x with the velour ear pads. As far as gaming headsets or just headsets in general, the sound quality is really good. Actually pretty decent mic for a headset, comfortable, braided cable, volume knob. Can’t complain.
If I had more money I’d look at proper headphones and a standalone mic, but for 200 (160 when I bought them) it’s solid. I personally don’t like Bluetooth peripherals, wired gives the lowest latency and don’t have to bother charging or having the batteries eventually needing replaced if they’re even user replaceable. And not to mention not needing any bloatware to use. Just plug n play
