

What most people don’t understand is that the more you push China with tariffs and sanctions, the more they will become self reliant - especially when it comes to technology. They will not roll over and curl up. Quite the opposite. Plus China sticks to their 5, 10, 15 and 25 year plans. And they have backup plans for their backup plans.



















Not trying to get too political but Yes, they should not sell to the US.
The US, together with the Trump vasal Mark Rutte, stopped the sale of ASML chip machines to China. They would be well in their right not to sell to the US.
Actually if you look at the export figures, China is exporting more after all the tariffs, and bans and restrictions to anywhere else outside of the US. They don’t care about the US. Again this is the backup of a plan already implemented.
That is also why China is heavily investing in Africa. Not so much the Middle East, where the US is aiming for because of oil. China is more interested in rare minerals and Africa could be a place where these could be found.
So instead of destroying infrastructure in the Middle East, China is building infrastructure in Africa. And creating goodwill by sending a large medical ship for humanitarian purposes. Of course all the thoughts behind this are political
