For as long as there has been humankind, we have gazed up at the night sky, for comfort, for romance, for meditation, for curiosity, etc. It has been a core human experience, evolutionarily hard-wired into our humanity and psyche.

I’m not sure it’s possible to stop MAGA in its tracks with one sentence, but statements like this, strong challenges that make EVERY newscast, go a long ways in giving struggling MAGAs a strong dose of second-hand cringe. The first step in converting them will be making them embarrassed to be associated with those MAGA losers, and a constant stream of clips like this will do that.

We need a lot more condescending “Bless your hearts” from Democrats, until the MAGAs feel like retards, and run away.

In 1897, they built the first music synthesizer. It worked, but it took up the basement of an entire city-block sized building, so it was essentially useless. After a few decades of development, it could fit in a suitcase, and be carried around.

Data Centers are like that 1897 synthesizer. Sure, it works, but at what cost? It clearly isn’t ready for prime time. Go back to the drawing board, tweak the problems, including regulations, and maybe in a couple of decades, we take another run at the new and improved version.

Or expand your music by getting into recording. You can get Digital Audio Workstation software for free (I like Reaper and Ableton), and start recording yourself playing and singing, and since it lets you overdub, you can do all the background vocals, and even the other instruments. The learning curve is steep, and it’s almost like learning an entirely new instrument, but it’s fascinating, challenging, and fun.

Or find other players, and put together a little band, just for fun.

It’s eventual collapse is inevitable. It will probably be a slow, painful ignominious end, as they sell off appendages one at a time to stay alive, and we can all bask in the slowly lingering schadenfreude.
