I’m assuming the GF would break up with OP over it. Which is itself a big red flag.
Edit: fwiw, it does seem like there is quite a bit of drama and bullshit over choice of phone (Android vs Apple)

I use OnlyOffice, but I’m not particularly discerning with my suite of office software and only use it for lightweight tasks.
Imagine if, when Facebook rolled out, people were just like “no thanks, I’m good” and it never took off.
Would “Steam Deck compatibility” be a good proxy, at least for Steam games?
upgrade to a supported operating system
What are the options? Let me guess, Micro$oft Windows or Windows
Wait, this guy is still around and relevant?
This one weird trick
while zionists collaborated with nazis
Zionists used to collaborate with Nazis. They still do, but they used to too.
About fucking time.
And we’re going to make sure that no one forgets it either.
I’m just waiting to be able to download a house.
My programming experience is Matlab
Wow that takes me back
I don’t know what games other commenter has, but my understanding is that there are a lot of issues with anti-cheat software not working properly with Linux.
Although I don’t really have a direct interest in buying a Steam deck, I’m hoping that its popularity helps push for games to be more Linux-friendly.
You’re not going to get “improvements” in Windows, that should be clear by now.
This is the crux of the issue. Holding out for improvements … that aren’t coming.
I have Windows 11 and am unlikely to change this computer (though who knows), however I absolutely plan on my next build being Linux. I might start tinkering around in a VM.
Stop using Chrome
That’s disappointing. Which one has this issue?
Fwiw, I have used OpenOffice and OnlyOffice. I actually haven’t used LibreOffice specifically.
Libreoffice and other FOSS alternatives just simply don’t come close
I really only use Word and Excel, and I find the FOSS alternatives just fine. I can understand if power-users might find the newer features worthwhile, but for basic word processing and spreadsheets the FOSS options are good enough.
I’ve honestly come to despise air travel. I take one round-trip per year; I’m not giving up visiting family and it is too far to reasonably drive.
Oh it absolutely is
One could say that it’s a “supervisor”.
/not quitting my day job
Remember: someone went out of their way and put effort into programming this.
