That’s a bold lie to tell.
Lol, that was perhaps the least controversial thing I’ve ever posted that got removed by a mod.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Is there currently an influx of bots in the Fediverse, or is it just that the usual patriotism is kicking in?
11·6 months agoLiberal politicians have no interest in meaningfully opposing conservatives and liberal people either fail to accept that as being true or worse allow themselves to buy into all kinds of bullshit beliefs being spread by said politicians because of tribalism. But you’re basically correct that there is a gap between Democrats and the people who vote for them.d

2·6 months agoI doubt that is specifically bots. The Left have been arguing with each other & liberals forever and Liberals are a popular target of criticism in the US because they’re supposed to be opposing conservatives and they’re not doing that.
“If you can dance, the women will love ya”
I wish I could go back and sign up for dance classes as a young man.
western governments only care about what’s best for the oligarchy?
Western, and Eastern, and Northern, and Southern. Historically the majority of Governments across human history care entirely or primarily about what’s best for the oligarchy.
Depends on the parents. Lotta nutjobs and alot of lazy people and both amount to kids getting an inferior education. But committed to putting in the work, with the time to due so, and good resources in your community to assist you, because you’re unhappy with the quality of public education and/or the amount of propaganda kids are forced to sit thru? Good for you, home school away.
That would be Zero but Christians sure are convinced it’s all of them.
I mean, Christian teachings are largely Greek Philosophy grafted onto Abrahamic religion. I’m not terribly convinced early church fathers really cared what Jesus thought.
That’s more or less what every Marxist and Marxist-Leninist really needs to hear.
Because he’s the M in ML
Weirdly, none of the 80 books on the reading list will actually be by Marx himself

Can’t say, didn’t bother watching either. Don’t need to see it to know it’s a bunch of lies and delusions, interspersed among an hours long effort to jack off his own ego.
Imperialism refers to a specific stage of capitalism
Then you’ve redefined the term Imperialism.
Russia steals the surplus value for within it’s borders, the US steals surplus value from beyond it’s borders. Like I said, Russia does everything the US does just not as extensively.

The word imperialism is derived from the Latin word imperium,[8] which means ‘to command’, ‘to be sovereign’, or ‘to rule’.[9] It was coined in the 19th century to describe Napoleon III’s attempts to gain political support by invasion.[10][11] The term was applied to the British Empire during the 1870s; by the 1880s it had acquired a positive connotation in the West.[12] By the end of the 19th century, the term was used to describe the behavior of empires at all times and places.[13] Hannah Arendt and Joseph Schumpeter defined imperialism as expansion for the sake of expansion.[14]
Hobson, and in 1917, Lenin, attempted to redefine imperialism as the “highest stage of capitalism”, as firms exported capital to dominate economically rather than territorially.[15]
