I like Ubuntu on my laptop. I need a new desktop because I can only support Debain and Debian is barebones.
I stupidly love Ubuntu because to me it’s still Debain but easy.
Debian is chill and all but I love the user interface and ease of access with Ubuntu.

Nahhh they just tanked it. They knew they were going out of business and within the last two years of them being around they stopped giving an absolute fuck. The people who cared what they did and had a passion for electronics were the most helpful individuals and were better than best buy. Best Buy was just really good for its TV and surround sound deals but then again Circuit City, Sears and Kmart competed with TV’s.
Idk man, best buy is a husk of a once-was electronics mega store and it’s sad to have seen it. I saw the isolated rooms with low lights playing star wars on the newest TV technologies of the time in 2000 and then saw it die some 12 years later.
Either way, circuit city was more accessible of a store and it’s layout was better. Best buy is now like Walmart and home depot, a reseller.

I miss Circuit City, a Circuit City Employee helped me turn a dvd player into a screen for my GameCube. 😔. My PalmOne Tungsten|C was from there. They used to fight for your warranty. I miss them so much.

Well we also have to take solar flares and GPS satellites into account. Can only do so much on a terrestrial level.

No it just means that everything is rounded now and you’re paying more for everything. Small, yes but you’re still paying more now. That’s what they want. They want you spending more and inflating the economy passively. The move also makes it so that spending the exact amount is only available digitally/with a card payment.

To be honest I went cashless during covid. I like my debit card more than I like carrying cash, it’s convenient to me. I would hate to have to lose the option though because when I go to buy a dutch, a lighter or a kinder bueno I don’t want to pay the atm fee that some places will charge to get up to the 5$/minimum and I’d rather pay cash.
My local liquor store doesn’t charge me the fee and I’m happy about that but I’d rather have a 5$ bill on me to buy a lighter or chocolate than pay the extra atm fee that might be added on to cover the 5$/minimum at some stores. So I usually have a little cash on me.

And they lose spots at terminals.

National average it’s 55¢ to run 3kw on 3phase electricity for an hour. Offshore areas like Hawaii and Alaska see higher costs like 1.60$/hr per 3kw on 3phase electricity but Alaska has a higher natural gas usage and Hawaii is further away from the CONUS electrical grid. National average per 24/hrs of charging is a little over 13$ with 3kw at 3phase.

Wouldn’t work Militarized though because you wouldn’t be able to refuel it mid flight.

Question is, are they actually gonna use them now?

… Well shit. Yeah fuck that guy.

Really??? I had no clue!!!
I just got back into being into the open source life after going back to Ubuntu after almost 20 years later. I stopped using Ubuntu in 2009 when Pigeon was an aio instant messenger client.

LibreWolf has it pre-installed and is Open-source. It worked on waterfox an Open-source fork of Firefox, last time I tried.
As for Vivaldi I guess use Brave instead.

I didn’t know that, well glad I went to LibreWolf.
