Not only are data centres a legitimate target due to being used by the military, they’re also a relatively small building filled with very valuable, very fragile equipment. So, if you want to cause significant problems for your enemy, they just make sense as a target.

They very much are, depending on what you’re towing, most of your fuel used goes into overcoming aerodynamic drag. If you tow a load of gravel on a trailer, compared to a caravan of the same weight, the difference in fuel used can be double.
Towing something that’s not very aerodynamic can easily double your fuel use, which means half the range or less in an EV.
I saw a story about a similar car carrier with solar panels, basically they’re used to offset the hotel load of the ship, and have nothing to do with the propulsion.
Which is still a significant improvement considering how much time a vessel like this spends at port loading and unloading.

There is just no good reason for a solar inverter to even have the ability to be controlled remotely like that. Any wireless functionality should be limited to outputting what the inverter is doing, and air gapped from the firmware.

This is absolutely something HVAC professionals consider, buildings with a central HVAC system are constantly mixing in outside air for exactly this reason. Installing co2 monitoring in rooms is also done for this exact reason.
