I don’t have any Roku devices luckily, but is there anyway to remove the google, roku, or amazon OS from a smartTV yet? I hope someone can crack these smart tv’s and we can install linux on them in the future to eliminate the ads and backdoors.

I live in the deep South and don’t want my information out there. Mullvad has done me right for years, I see no reason to change. Many other VPN’s are vulnerable and can leak your information to your ISP.

Only a VPN at around $65-70 per year.

I already tried to setup jellyfin for a couple days before I bought the $120 Plex pass. I could not get it to work at all and it was frustrating reading all the vulnerabilities with the internet.

Plex took me 5 minutes to setup and all my friends can access my media no problem.

I haven’t supported Amazon in over 15 years. I just stopped buying from them. Most of the stuff they sell, you can buy directly from the manufacturer or on eBay. There was one USB hub that amazon sold that i could only find on amazon, so i just chose a different brand and got it on eBay.

Really not that hard to avoid amazon entirely.

So from what i’ve researched, the heritage foundation has a good relationship with Russia and putin. Putin has been trying to destabilize the US economy for decades, but other presidents were smart enough to not work with him. Now that putin has his friend as president, Krasnov(Trump) is just following directions from Putin as putin is a role model to trump and trump follows what he says. Putin also has enough blackmail on trump, that trump will never cross him.

So essentially, the heritage foundation can benefit on this relationship and let the economy crash so they can buy up our homes, land, and business’s for 10% of what they are worth. Their end goal is to dissolve the US and create sections in the US that will be run by CEO’s and all personal freedom will be gone. So if CEO’s can own our homes, land, and ways of making money, they can change the US into their creepy little utopia’s they constantly have been talking about on podcasts for the last decade.

This will destroy the US even more. Just as planned by the heritage foundation.
