No, but I think it’s a reasonable inference that someone who voted for him might not disapprove, let alone call him the worst of all time.

And there is no way to know what the people who didn’t vote in think of them. We cannot assume that they all disagree with him or would consider him the worst.

Currently? Perhaps, but if you are taking a poll of the general population you need to keep in mind that almost 50% of the population voted for him and would pick someone from the Democratic Party.
Forever? Probably not. I remember when the world thought nobody could ever be a dumber president than Dubya. And frankly, if Trump didn’t have a snivelling need for love and approval, he would probably implement more of the horrible things he talks about. One day the US could elect that very combination of evil and self-confident.

In what way? Natural peanut butter requires refrigeration, as does any peanut butter you make at home. Maple syrup requires refrigeration. And pizza sauce is perfectly usable after freezing.

I agree - maple syrup needs to be refrigerated

That’s not maple syrup. That’s American syrup-like product

Peanut butter and syrup should need refrigerating - only the preservative laden crap is shelf stable (which admittedly, is what is pictured).
Pizza sauce freezes very well in silicone cubes.

The current investors are hoping to be rich enough to have their own compound by the time the climate catastrophe gets that bad. By the time they lose money, it will be fairly meaningless. This is why I’ve always hated measuring climate damage in dollars - we can’t measure real world catastrophe against a societal construct

Same. I saw the $1000 to get my car in not-black and then figured I should instead get my kids snowsuits and winter boots and drive a black car.

If your friends call your taste weird, gross, or old, then perhaps it’s time to expand your social circle and move towards less shitty friends .
Even if my friends’ house/car/wardrobe isn’t to my taste, I’m not rude enough to tell them that. Because really, it’s for them to like, not me.

It also might be that when the economy is bad, you’re more likely to tolerate the default colour rather than pay $1000 extra for a premium colour.

Don’t buy seeds on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, etc - they are so full of scammers that it is impossible to weed out the legitimate sellers from the fake. And if you get fake ones, you may get invasive species that are harmful to the environment around you.
Most places have some great local sellers. But if you’re buying online I would recommend dedicated places like Canada’s Vesey’s Seeds, West Coast Seeds, or the US’s Prairie Moon

Well then we just let them starve and blame them for being homeless.

Educating the kids would be a waste of taxpayer dollars. The only training they need is how to mow the grass around the data centres.

Initially, but the article mentioned they aren’t ruling out real money in future. I think they likely want to get a broad user base first, then start offering the really exciting bets for small amounts of money, eventually leading to larger sums.

I find it problematic that they are using forward PE as a comparison, because forward PE in and of itself is a guesstimate based on numbers a company puts out to attract investors. Sure, they can be audited, but there is plenty of creative accounting done to improve optics

I mean, I agree that the market left fundamentals behind years ago. But when increasing numbers of transactions are handled by robo-advisors all working on similar parameters and institutional ownership is something like 71% of the DOW, can we expect the same result as in 2000?
Billionaires aren’t going to roll over and go bankrupt - they will manipulate the stock market to make it look like the economy isn’t failing. A crash and government intervention isn’t impossible, but I suspect we are already wallpapering over the mess - note that central banks say “markers of recession” rather than “recession”, because then it can’t possibly be real. They would prefer that the 30% of shares owned by us plebs aren’t panic sold so the problem stays invisible, but if it is, they will buy up the shares at a discount and continue to trade them among themselves with fictional dollars that have been loaned into existence.
So now they HAVE to double down and fund this AI infrastructure, because sunk costs dictate that they can’t admit to a bad decision and hire back the terminated employees.
Just because it’s costly doesn’t mean they aren’t going to push forward with all their might, unfortunately
