Also Nobara is built on fedora, so OP doesn’t have to adjust to something new

Ask me about my Nobara System [ Shintel i7 4770HQ, NoVideo 950m, 16GB DDR3-SDRAM ]
And while you are at it, ask me about my newest addition, a second Nobara System [ AYYYMD Ryzen 5 3600X, NoVideo 1070, 32GB DDR4 and some mix of NVMe, Sata SSD and HDD ]
I also use mastodon, to review pictures of peoples buttholes

Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•What distro would you recommend to harness the full power of this semi old cheapo PC with an NVIDIA GPU?English
2·1 year agoThis can’t be. I am using a GPU from the same Pascal generation and just installed the newest availabe Nvidia 570 driver. I also use a Laptop with intel 4770HQ and Nvidia 950m GPU running with the same driver under the same Nobara 42 version with KDE.
You should switch from the open driver to the closed one, if your gpu is in one of the lists: https://wiki.nobaraproject.org/graphics/nvidia/supported-gpus
Woul be nice if GoG had a linux client
