The only thing I can think of is, maybe there used to be displays or kiosks there, and this actually created an illusion of uniformity when The offset rows were obstructed.

I don’t think this belongs in “mildly” infuriating
I mean, I handled it. It just involved a lot of getting up early and driving around for long periods of time. I’m only really reacting to the assertion that is isn’t hard. In the city it is, in fact, not easy.
NOT AT ALL trying to support this asshole but I know from experience it’s much harder in NYC. I know conventional wisdom is that nobody owns a car there — but there are more privately owned cars than there are parking spaces, and the city strictly enforces alternate-street parking.
His moving violations are because he’s a bad/selfish driver but it’s harder in NYC than almost anywhere else to avoid parking tickets, unless you’re rich enough to pay for a lot/garage, which is about the price of rent in another city.
I work from home; my coworker is a dog.

It seems like I have offended you in some way, and let me assure you that I don’t know how, but I am also utterly incurious as to why.
Yeah. I’m a fan of some less-popular musicians who have a few hundred Redditors and at least a dozen active participants. Here it’s literally me talking to a wall. Or no forum at all.

I am indeed aware of the existence of radios. I dislike radio because I prefer to have some level of control over what I’m listening to. Even with algorithmic slop I can skip tracks if I want.
It is in some communities. But there are certain places I used to see pretty regular updates and engagement on Reddit that either don’t exist here or are absolute ghost towns. You can say that’s because of a different user base and different priorities and that’s fair — but then you can’t complain about low involvement/engagement by people who want to participate in those communities.

There’s a girl on Instagram whose whole schtick is that she sends feet pics and stuff to MAGA guys and then openly mocks them for financing her lifestyle and donates some of the money to progressive causes. She has been doing it for months and I’m convinced part of the appeal for these guys is the humiliation ritual of being “owned.”

I had been using YouTube for “background noise” a lot — nothing political, just movie reviews and video essays about pop culture. In general, my YouTube diet is pretty non-toxic.
But I fell down a rabbit hole researching a band lately and have been obsessively listening to music for a couple of weeks. Mostly on my MP3 player to give my phone a break. And holy cow it feels nice not to be bombarded with curated Content all the time. I didnt even realize how consistently/constantly there was just STUFF on that, while not bad, wasn’t really contributing anything to my life.

Yeah, but the VOLUME is the selling point here, I think. I’ve never heard of this fucking dude and even if it was t transparently bad faith content his name wouldn’t make me (a universal “me” who is open to this) click.
The “it’s ten on one and he still destroyed the females” piece is what’s supposed to lure you in.

I thought a BD duplicator. Multiple drives, just put the professional disc in the top and a blank in one or more of the others. Obviously blanks are less resilient than pressed discs but it’s a backup and I didn’t need to have specialized skills to do it.

Yes but vinyl’s resurgence is like a decade old now. People were actively abandoning DVD while stocking up on vinyl.

HE KNOWS WHAT HE DID.

First, you have to buy a SHITLOAD of Kool-Aid…
Long before. This is an older clip that has resurfaced because Biden’s cancer has worsened.
