Boo hoo hoo my enemy as a response

Boo hoo hoo for developers making 350k$, boo hoo hoo, I really feel your pain. Do you want some ice cream to make you feel better ?

Prometheus is the equivalent of a chicken tent. Wow. Isn’t this what Pablo Escobar did in the early days of the drug trade? Is there some association there to modern times?

I’m sure They’re reliably, but like any car, anything can go wrong with them. That’s why historically a Toyota is much more reliable than a Buick. Its not written down in a spec sheet. It is how well does it do in the real world. I made my original comment because i personally know someone who’s electric car died one week past the standard warranty. Now they are In a world of financial pain with a dead two year old car that they are still making payments on. That’s not something to lol about. It’s a real problem.

Not sure I follow your intent of the post. Please allow Me to give some background. The battery has a good chance of dying early, even after the warranty period. Which makes the average cost of the car very expensive

That sounds like a success story. Wait til you hear about your battery died one week after the warranty expired … Fun times

Just did my x amount donation. Go Lemmy ,!!
I’m not defending Mcds , but everyone can choose to eat whatever they want. Everyone has fast food of any kind everywhere,. It’s not my place to judge whether they eat it or not. You never hung out with your friends at a fast food joint because that’s what you could all afford at the time ?
I think the spirit of the post is that all fast food horribly shifted to being terrible in the last decade. Mcds happens to be one of the most prominent ones. KFC is cardboard now, Chinese food containers are now half of what they used to be. A Korean fried chicken place cut the wings in two and called them separate pieces, so you have two buy two now to get the same amount of chicken as before. With the smaller portion , the price has gone up 50% across the board.
Maybe some countries have not seen their food quality and price shift so quickly, but in Corporate America, consumers are getting squeezed like never before. The dollar has lost 50% spending power everywhere in America.
One of my favorite local takeout lobster sandwiches used to be $17 less than 10 years ago, now it’s $40, and it’s the same size as before.
Is there a URL for donation?
There is always a small audience who responds to this type of message, most likely outside a first world country. The problem is that they spam broadcast to everyone, of which 99.99% laughs at it and ignores it. Those who do respond are vulnerable to the scam.
Some rings promise good wages overseas, and when people buy in to the scam they end up enslaved in a warehouse overseas.
This is a low cost spam message to find more victims to fill the overseas jails filled with workers committing high tech crimes.

Those were some really good moments a long time ago. Thank you for feeling the same way.

Solomon’s Key was the OG escape room puzzle game. The creators must have had so much designing all those rooms while laughing at the future me dying and restarting over and over.

R.C. PRO-AM brought it to a new level. It was really difficult, but super rewarding to progress to new phases of the later levels. They kept introducing new elements as you progressed. That was so much fun.

Wasn’t there also a right to left building jump that was impossible ? I think it only worked left to right jump from a higher building

Duck Hunt anyone ?. I think I got to middle 20s level. I hate that dog for mocking me on my last level before dying. I almost wish there was a game where I could shoot that dog instead of the ducks.

I was scrolling to find this post. I used to be able to beat that level on command a gazillion years ago. I retried it recently on the turtles anthology game on the ps5 and it was brutal even with the rewind feature.

Mega Man all of them, they were all brutal. There was one with the tails looking dude on the ps1 that was not too bad
Back in the day when affordable homes were very much bigger compared to now. You could splurge a little on hard drives that could store big size letters. Now that affordable homes (tiny condos) are a teeny tiny bit smaller, it makes sense to shrink the size of the letters so that they fit in a smaller space.
