You can download a Linux distribution from the Internet, but you must use a tool like Balena-Etcher or Ventoy to “mount” that distribution (typically in the form of a .iso file) to an external media, like a USB flash drive. Then, you’d boot your system into that USB to install the Linux distribution to your machine.

Same here. Plex just works for my folks with 0 tech literacy. I may try Jellyfin in the future, but I have a few friends that primarily access Plex via Playstation 4/5, and I know there’s no support there yet.

I’ve heard good things about it, but don’t use it myself. I may give it a spin when COSMIC is a little more stable. Linus is just a moron who would rather engagement bait than make actual well-learned videos about tech.
