Lemmy also has support for adding custom emojies that will show up in the emoji selector (at least on the web ui, I think many apps don’t have support for selecting emojies). It requires the admins of your instance to add them though. You can get the emojies from another instance by using the addon mathemachristian linked to.

I thought that was just a regular old emoji picker, I didn’t know admins could add custom emojis there.
