  • I had someone tell me “your hands are small, you’ll hate the steam deck! You’ll get hand cramps reaching for the thumb stick!” I’m glad I didn’t listen to them. This thing comes with me almost everywhere, but especially when I know I’ll have a wait. I just finished Cyberpunk 2077, playing only on my Steam deck and it was fantastic. I don’t have a gaming computer, just this thing (and a Nintendo switch, but I won that in a raffle), and it handles anything I’ve tried to play so far. I hope it sticks around for at least another 5 years, cause prices are crazy lol.

  • Cyberpunk 2077. I know it’s not as old as some of the other games here, but I totally ignored it. I usually suck at FPS and I thought this one would be no different, but oh my gosh, the cyberware stuff and the stealth takedowns, so so much fun. I really enjoyed the story, I thought V’s female VA (Ilia from RWBY!) did a fantastic job, as did Keanu Reeves. And now I see the DLC is on sale!

  • This is very off topic, but seeing the images associated with the article jogged my memory.

I watch a Youtube channel called “Hand Tool Rescue” and one of the things he was fixing was a sprinkler, and near the end he is tightening the spray part back on, holding it still with his two hands, and a third hand slowly moves into frame between his two other hands and tightens the spray part and I spit tea all over the floor.

I don’t know why it caught me so darn funny, but I laughed for like 10 minutes, it was awesome. Anyway, everyone should give him a watch, and plus, he’s Canadian so 👍

  • Yeah! I got it free through Epic right when I switched to Kubuntu. It’s a fun game now that I’ve actually gotten to play it (just left the valley lol).

I mention in a few of my other posts, I have an older Asus Tuf gaming laptop with an Nvidia GTX 1050. I knew I had to download the proprietary drivers for the 1050, but I wasn’t sure which ones, so I think I initially downloaded the 535 drivers. Anyway, Sable launched okay (playing through Heroic), I was able to play until I got into the initial camp, then it crashed and never started up again. I was bummed.

But switching to Bazzite and downloading everything again, and it’s just working. I didnt change anything, didnt have to mess with any settings. It’s awesome!
