Ive only got one gripe with it and its the requirement for RCS. I do prefer to use signal but genuinely only one person I know has gotten on to it. I hate using google messages but for folks that send me bulk pictures from iOS its just a hassle until there’s a Foss one that works but there isnt to my knowledge. I like audiobookshelf since I can self host it and listen to my podcasts. But I’ll admit it does have some issues visually when trying to read on the iOS or iPadOS app. The web view is great though.

Solid workhorses and stable as hell. Def recommend if you can go to a salvage place to get the used older ram, if you can get so lucky.

Having been someone who was once fully invested in it all and now being here, they likely don’t care or don’t understand enough to care. It’s like when the Arabian billionaires purchased pokemon go from niantic. I’d like to personally, however with my home environment being Apple TV device the plex application is fantastic. And sharing my libraries with other friends sharing back with me is pretty great. Does jellyfinn have that ability? I’ve seen about an app that’s supported but I’m not sure about it, the Apple TV app that is.

I’ve done plex for a good few years at this point, but i’ve got this now: -Ubuntu bionic -Dockge (for easy rebooting when i’m just not feeling the CLI) -Arr stack -Gluetun (VPN for stack) -Firefox (LAN access only, no other access from gluetun) -Radarr -Sonarr -qbittorrent -prowlarr -Immich -Plex

A few I’ve tried but can’t get to work on docker-compose yet: -searxNG -Heimdall (just can’t get the graphs I wanna see for the systems processes) -homarr (not bad, just same as heimdall)

I wanted to cut over to proxmox from ubuntu just to have more server efficient since i’m not running ubuntu server. However I’m still fairly new to this and the cut over from docker desktop and docker run to docker-compose was a lot for a bit, so it’ll still be on the list, but probably when I upgrade this old cpu (i5 6500) to something newer since this is an old thinkcenter. I’m hella open to any suggestions anyone’s got
