Haven’t heard of this before, but the nomachine domain is in the ublock badblock list. Wonder why.

I’m referring to the person you replied to, who communicated a lack of ability to audit the code while you honed in expressly on laziness.
You have made a couple leaps in judgment here; I also said nothing about my use or disuse of FOSS projects.

Lack of knowledge isn’t laziness. I couldn’t security audit the code even with the right amount of available personal bandwidth.

I absolutely love this tool. Thank you for your work.
I will pour one out when the day comes for me to switch to podcheck.

I have done this (or had this done by IT) on every Windows 10/11 machine that I have had to use. There has long been a registry tweak to kill the online search and it really does improve the experience.

I’m buying open box and refurb. Not paying these ridiculous prices

Yeah the terminology
the books are balanced, there are just more debits than credits
is the opposite of everything discussed above.

A loss is not an imbalance of debits and credits, but how much of those debits end up in expenses and the credits end up in revenue.
DR Expense $1,000
CR Cash $1,000
With no other activity in a period, that is a $1,000 loss funded by cash.
DR Expense $1,000
CR Loan $1,000
Is a loss funded by borrowings.
DR Sales Discounts $1,000
CR Sales Revenue $1,000
Is 0 profit/expense as the sale was marked down to 0 (assuming no cost of sales).

You can’t have balanced books where there are more debits than credits. That would be out of balance.
Balanced means debits = credits.

That’s been there for at least a year, from my recollection.

My goodness

Windows on ARM with Snapdragon processors is a regular thing right now. I don’t know how well they are selling or how well they perform, but it is definitely past Windows RT 2.0 already. I am pretty sure they are doing x86 comparability.

I have written with a healthy helping of dashes for a long time (regular ass - unless auto-correct switches it to an em-dash. This AI proliferation of em-dashes (and people’s awareness of it) means I get over-scrutinized 😟

Baldur’s Gate 3.
I also held off a really long time on it to wait until it was done done so that I didn’t have to go back every time new content or patches were released.

That kind of fine is a pittance.

Every time I price one out, this is the friction I face.
I have a 9 year old Yoga 720 that was my daily driver and have been wanting to upgrade for at least 4 years. I love what the Framework 13 Pro is, and that it finally has a touchscreen but priced out it is over $3,000 CAD.
I finally upgraded, but picked up a refurbished Asus Pro Art 13 for $1,100 CAD instead, which also fit in to my waste-less ideology.

I’m a Linux casual. Could you go into some more detail on what you’re communicating with that update quote? Why is that bad?
So this is the power of Microsoft ownership - access to all the spyware.
