I don’t about your business, but we’ve had LOT of conversations about how much we trust these models. Not just about data egress, but on what they are trained to do/not to do - Chinese or not.

For sure, that’s why I dont trust any of them. Its interesting because unlike open source, open weight models don’t tell you anything about what was included or excluded.

I get what you are saying, but its not just data egress, its how the model was trained. I’m thinking of models trained to inject security weaknesses, for example.

I’m not an expert, but if BGP started routing traffic through U.S. services they could MITM traffic ( if it wasn’t properly secured), but they could also just DoS which might have been enough for the purposes at that time.

I assume they mean Border Gateway Protocol. Its used to help define what network traffic goes where. This could mean traffic was being redirected to bad actor(s).

I’ve worn progressive lenses for nearly 10 years now. I did get one pair on the cheap, and they were truly awful, unusable. That’s when I figured out that going cheap with progressive lenses isn’t worth it. That may be what has happened to you. Even with good lenses, it takes me a few days, maybe a week to get used to them when I get a new pair. Stairs are… difficult though, especially going down. I live in a busy European city, so I use public transport a lot, and that means lots of stairs. I can no longer run up and down them like I used to.
