12·12 天前It would be the best, man. I miss her. I could do a lot of stuff differently, sure, but mostly I would just like to spend some time with her. She was awesome.

Digestion is basically an input=output system.
From a risk assessment standpoint, space exploration is a VERY good investment. We need to be on multiple planets, preferably in multiple solar systems or even multiple galaxies.
BUT. It absolutely must be paired with NOT destroying the planet we have! This is the only planet we’ve got right now and the only one we’ve got a guarantee on habitability - if we don’t fuck it up.
So yes, space is vital. But so it protecting this place.

They are cheering for dead troops. Those troops happen to include 17 year old from poor families. They are, unironically and with great enthusiasm, cheering about dead 17 year olds.
I just struggle to see that as good.

Unironically? Some of those were kids, back then. The photos make them look a lot older because they were tied, hungry, dehydrated, and filthy. Kids were lying about their age far more successfully then than now.
But you’re just proving my point: you like seeing dead kids fighting for old men. As long as they’re the right dead kids for your political compas.
You’re happy to see poor enlisted kids die for rich old assholes. It’s not a hard concept.

The US military takes enlistees at 17 and a half years old. Usually from poor families.

So what you’re saying is he’s a first amendment supporter with good aim who isn’t afraid to take direct action against federal surveillance overreach, right? I think you could sell this to the Republicans as a candidate just as easily as to the Democrats.
