Many federation things are broken atm. i know of Multiple communitys that are behind hours or Multiple days both on lemmy.world and Kbin the instance owner says their server got tons of recources free so its federation related bugs i guess.

Honestly hard to find a instance for it that isnt just some random school or something.

Ye mods on reddit ( and on lemmy ) should be at most Moderating 5 maybe 10 subs INCLUDING ALTS.

That’s how much reddit cares about you even if you did the job of tons and tons of paid employees.

Underpaid workers , free mods ( slaves ) which are even happy to do it . Super mods. reddit admins.

Most likely if enough free mods leave and not enough rejoin some outsourcing center likely from a cheat country.

Simply block the community’s, or join a more restrictive lemmy instance which filters instances in a way you want ( nothing bad in this that’s one of the feats of lemmy and stuff)
