I believe you that this is true by length of time, but there was a lot of war going on in central and eastern Europe in the 90s.

Because not everyone’s taxes are the same.

It’s probably not true to say that it’s always the fault of the rear-ender. But most of the time it’s because said person was following too closely. If you maintain a following distance of 3-4 seconds you should be able to safely avoid almost any collision caused by a sudden stop.

Not completely original, but it is the definitive example in modern of a shared universe in modern culture.

Just distance divided by time.

A lot of times it’s because they’re asking yes/no questions or questions that should have simple, factual answers but the other party refuses and instead uses a lot of words to dance around giving a direct answer.

I made a snarky comment but after reading the body I realize you’re a female OP.
Go see a doctor. Yes women do enjoy sex and if it’s painful or uncomfortable you might need to get something checked out.

No, it’s a lie made up by the patriarchy

I think you’re underestimating the level of technology in 2400 BC

Well anybody could do it.
But there’s lots of things I could sell from time to time, including labor or sex. Would it make it my profession if I did so once in a while? Or would I need to do it full time?

Like farmers? Or weavers? Or metal workers? Or shepherds? Yes.

Certainly there were other professions before 2400 BC

And certainly that would not count as a profession because that labor is not specialized.

It’s hard to say, because what counts as a profession? Do you need specialization of labor? Or money?

With the naked eye or with a telescope are two very different questions.
But the answer to either question is “more galaxies in the universe.” Estimate of galaxies in the observable universe is 2 trillion. The Milky Way contains at most 400 billion stars, most of which will not be visible with either the naked eye or a telescope.

Is it a thing that normally happens? If not, I can see how the SNL writers would get pissed off at it.

Desert already existed but wasn’t as widespread.
All other countries have inferior potassium.
“If it bleeds, it leads” is as true as ever
